Learn, Practice. What's next?

This page contains information about the multiple contest pathways that CeNCE organizes.

The first and most established pathway is the competitive programming pathway for computing excellence. This pathway is designed to maintain Singapore’s continued success at the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI). This not only involves training students for Informatics Olympiad Competitions, but also organising and running such competitions. Doing well in this pathway opens up possibilities for International Olympiad medallists (especially IOI/EGOI) from Singapore (and overseas) to join NUS as undergraduate students and to possibly represent NUS in the ICPC. See the details at >this link.

Starting from 2026, CeNCE starts organizing National Cybersecurity Olympiad (NCO) and sending team to ICO, the cybersecurity pathway for computing excellence.

In 2027, a few CeNCE members will be involved in organizing IOAI 2027.
